Definition
The objective of the problem of location of facilities is to find which facilities must be opened in a way that optimizes that function of cost-benefit. With this problem it is determined which plants and which warehouses should be used as well as the amount of product that goes from each plant to each warehouse.
The management of the supply chain implies not only the movement of goods, but also decisions such as where to produce and where to locate plants and centers of distribution as well as how much to produce in each place.
PROBLEM OF LOCATION OF FACILITIES TRAINED
When a capacity limit is considered for each of the installations, The problem is called a trained facility location problem. East problem can be divided into other categories, the problem of localization of facilities trained with supply constraints from a single source, where each client must receive their demand from a single open installation. Another version of the problem allows the demand of each client to be satisfied in fractions from two or more open deposits.
